Financial Opportunity

In The News
I just read some disturbing things in the newspaper today:
The first was about a teacher,31, being charged with "sex abuse of a minor [16] and committing a fourth-degree sex offense". They said he wrote her sexually suggestive e-mails , reached inside her pants and kissed her in his classroom. GOTDAYUM!!! All I got to say is I wish a nigga would touch my niece. Or my nephew for that matter. What the freak is the world coming to?
Here's another one about this 56 year old guy being charged with "molesting five disabled children and taking pornographic photographs of others". Now what the freak do people like that think? Here is a 56 year old man, thinking "Aww man I just want to take a quick feel". **FEEL THIS!!! (My foot up your old wrinkled azz)**
Last but not least, they arrested this DC cab driver who pleaded guilty to conspiring to help a terrorist organization. They said he went to Pakistan 5 years ago to receive terrorist training, then he came back here awaiting his chance to put to use what he had learned. Ya'll this is scary, they are driving us around yo'. They over there fighting this "war on terrorism" and trying to figure out how they can cut down on illegal immigrants when these people are already here. They have been here for years. What freak is going on? Sadly, it is getting to the point where you can trust no one of that decent!!

Dear Abby: The Girl Is The Mother Of The Woman
Dear Abby,
Have you heard of the saying "The boy is the father of the man"? Well, I've changed it around to say "The girl is the mother of the woman". Now, take a minute and think about this quote. For those who are a little confused by this, I'll break it down for you. This means that something that happened to you in your childhood, be it something someone said or did, is still guiding you today. For example, if you were told not to cry because you had nothing to cry about, then maybe today you don't show emotion at all. Or maybe you were raped as a child, and today you jump everytime someone even touches you. What is your inner girl or boy telling you today?
Now, I've been through alot in my little 22 years of living, and I have this little girl trying to tell me how to act, feel, or even tell me what people are thinking. For example, I was talked about and made fun of growing up, so now everytime someone looks in my direction laughing, I think they are laughing at what I have on or even the way I look. Now, they very well could have been laughing at something the person sitting next to them said or something that happened last week. But the little girl in me tells me that they are laughing at me. How in the freakin' world do you kill this little girl in you? How do you tell her to shut the freak up or even go to hell?

Wait On The Lord And Be of Good Courage!!
"Wait on the Lord and be of good courage." What exactly does that mean? How can one really be of good courage when waiting on something like a husband or a home or something else big like that? Let's take a husband for example. I know what NOT waiting on the Lord can do to a marriage, but what does waiting on the Lord do.
FACT: NOT waiting on the Lord CAN lead to divorce and unhappiness. So many of my friends and family are going or have gone through being unhappy with the one they say the Lord sent them. Maybe it's because they never really waited to here from the Lord, or maybe they chose to hear what they wanted to hear. But how does one really know that they heard from the Lord? People say you recognize his voice through having a closer relationship with him. But how do you obtain that? Answers to these types of questions just leads me to more questions.
Waiting on the Lord to me means happiness. "He will give you the desires of your heart". What do you do while you wait? Who/What will comfort you during those lonely nights? My brother once told me you have to prepare yourself to receive what the Lord has instore for you. Will preparing yourself keep you occupied and your mind off of Mr. or Ms. Right Now? What do you do to prepare yourself? Can anyone out there help a sister out?
